i recently bought a bersa 40 pistol. not my first pistol but first import. the quality fit and finsh of this pistol is top notch,feeds flawlessly and has left or right hand contols with mag release easy converted to left hand. 500 rds no jams or feed problems at all and once it breaks in it works even smoother. sights are good and frame is machined to accept light or laser. came with 2 mags and with a 13 round capacity which is a plus. over all a great buy and a helluva pistol for the money.

I bought a Bersa 380 with a 15 round magazine by chance several months ago. It's the first gun I ever bought for self defense. Since I am now 58, you can say this was a historic moment for me. After taking lessons from shooting competition veterans, with safety foremost in my mind, I tried my Bersa on the firing range. After 3000 rounds, I can say that this little handgun is a very accurate gun (at 5, 10, 15 meters)using either full metal, reloads or hollow points. It also does not jam and is very affordable compared to the more well known brands. However, I believe that if I ever get into a in a gunfight, God forbid, I would depend on my Bersa 380 more than any other gun.
