Benchmade uses a black G10 OD Micarta handle that is very durable, but has a fine looking quality. This also makes the Benchmade Rukus knife much lighter. A dual thumb stud is a useful feature for opening with either the left or right hand. Benchmade also adds on an Axis lock to give the knife a more solid and secure feel when handling it. A pocket clip comes with the Benchmade knife to take anywhere while attached to a gear pack or pocket.
