Great Gun for anyone

Read all the reviews on several 380 guns & the Bersa was the best rating. I decided to buy one & there was only one shop in the area that had one in stock.After looking it over I bought the Bersa & it's the greatest gun I ever had in my hand.Shot great right out of the box, never had a problem with anything.Easy breakdown easy gun to fire.

For my wife

I just bought this gun for my wife. We are both in the Military and I have currently left home to attend recruiting school. I wanted her to have something in the house for home protection while I am away and she had never owned a pistol before. I bought it and took her to the range... she loved it! Light weight, easy to handle and very accurate. I bought it two weeks ago and she's already been to the range three times and has put about 300 rounds through it... no problems. She loves firing it and is now going to the local gun shop every Monday for free range time during "ladies night". Deffinately a good buy for your wife at home and out-and-about. (with a permit.. of course!)

I have had this gun for 3 years just recently traded it for an AK. I had a yong frend that wanted the pistol more than the rifel. Any way he shot my bersa a cuple of times and decied he had to have it because of its acracy. It will win shot frome a knee place 3 in groops at 30 yards. with remington holow points it will make water filled milk jugs explode very similar to a jacked round out of an ak. so its safe to say this gun packs a punch.

I really love this little gun, but I'm exasperated at the same time. It is fairly accurate but needs the rear sight adjusted. Minor issue! However, in 50 rounds, I had at least one & sometimes two FTFs per magazine with ball ammo. The malfunction left a cut on the nose of the round. The round was canted in the chamber and the magazine had to be removed before the slide could be retracted and the round removed. Bad box of ammo?? I don't know. The barrel mating surface to the feed ramp is not too smooth. It has a sharp step between the feed ramp to the barrel. An issue?? Again, I don't know. Perhaps it needs another 200 round through it in order to get 'settled in'. I told my dealer I would try another box of ammo and would save the rounds that do not feed to show him. He is a great guy and said if it continues, he will replace the gun no questions asked. Any help here??

Great gun!

I just bought my Thunder .380 this week. I spent a few hours yesterday at the range and put 160 rounds of full metal jackets through it. Worked like a charm.
What I really like about this little gun is how forgiving it is. I am disabled and have had a problem with handling recoil on my old .38 Special. With the Thunder there is very little recoil and my shot placement was very accurate for such a small gun.
Very much a gun worth a look for women, smaller folks, and disabled people.

Good Gun

I read alot of rave reviews of this gun and high expectations. I have owned it about a year and put over 500 rounds through it with no problems. It reminds me of a mini 92. i really enjoy it and with a clip draw it makes a good in the wasteband carry gun. It is however a little large for a pocket gun. Overall very good gun, period, regardless of price.

Bought mine years ago. Never a jam of any kind, feeds any HP ammo I have tried, and it still looks brand new after hundreds of rounds of ammo. It's just a right size to conceal but not so small that it fumbles in the hand from recoil. With modern ammunition this is one potent back up that will never let you down.

You Can't Beat It!

I've had my Thunder .380 for several years. It's never misfired and always hits what I shoot at. It's a great size for carrying concealed. I have a soft leather "camera case" that fits on my belt and carries my pistol and 2 extra magazines without a problem, biking or hiking. This pistol is well worth it's price and more!!!

this hand gun is well worth the price! the overall quality is outstanding for a gun of this price range. i have shot 150 rounds threw it in less than an hour it got a bit worm but did not jam. good smooth action, and little recoil. the only thing i did not like about this gun is the placement of the mag ejector button. it is to high on the frame, i feel it needs to be lower. this gun is perfect for a woman for carry and conceal. i bought the thunder 380 for my girlfriend and she has never shot a hand gun before this one, and she loves it! she felt was very comfortable shooting it right away. i strongly recamend the thunder 380
for women.

Better Than Expected

Like the others who have commented, this gun is well worth the price paid. I have purchased other CC semi-autos costing alot more and this one puts them to shame. I have owned my Bersa Thunder 380 for about a year now and have had no problems what so ever. I estimate that I have put well over 2000 rounds through and have no jams at all. One con is that it is a little large for pocket carry however I usually have mine in an ankle holster that doesn't bother me at all. I would highly recomend this product to anyone looking for an in-expensive CC pistol.

Great gun, handles good and manageable recoil. All the extras of a much more expensive pistol. My only personal drawback is that its a bit to large and heavy to carry in my pocket.

Good Gun, Exceptional Value

I've owned this pistol for nearly 4 years and have fired roughly 1000 rounds thru it. I carry it regularly. Given the price, I don't get worked up over minor wear patterns, etc. like I would on a Colt. Shoots and handles as well as any pistol I've fired. Did experience several "last round stovepipe jams over the first 100-150 rounds, but none since then using the same mag.

This gun is by far worth the money. I've owend this gun for over 2 years & have never had a problem with it.It shoots & handles great! I'm so sold on the 380 cal. I'm going to trust in the good fortune of owening this one,that I have a 40 cal. on order & waiting any day to receive it.Looking foward to shooting & owening another Bersa gun. Good For The Money

This gun met my expectations and exceeded some of them for a gun under $250.00. Shoots great, no to little recoil, gun fits well in my hands. I've experienced a few jams with after market mags. But all in all for the money a good little gun.
